Cure

There is no cure. If melanoma is found and removed or treated early, a person has a much greater chance of survival. If melanoma is not found early enough, it can grow and spread (metastasize) throughout the body, such as to the lungs, liver, and brain. When this happens, it is extremely difficult to treat, and the result can be fatal.

Thanks to your generosity, Our M.O.M., Inc. was able to make a donation of $10,000 to the Melanoma Research Foundation to aid research for an effective treatment and hopefully a cure of this terrible disease that affects so many people. As our foundation grows, Our M.O.M., Inc. is dedicated to increase funding for research.
